The 13th annual Battle of the Bands will take place at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith at 7 p.m. March 2 in the Breedlove Auditorium, offering local bands an opportunity to play for the community and win prizes.

 

The event, which is free and open to the public, will have the theme β€œAcross the Universe,” encouraging participating musicians to play covers of Beatles songs. Musician David Paige will serve as the master of ceremonies.

 

Cash prizes include $200 for first place and $100 for the crowd favorite. Additionally, students who attend the event and bring a canned food item will receive a free T-shirt, with donations going to a local food bank.
