The 91ΑΤΖζβs annual Junior Den Day on April 3 at the Stubblefield Center gives high school juniors a chance to learn more about both 91ΑΤΖζ and the college experience.
Dr. Paul B. Beran, 91ΑΤΖζ chancellor, will welcome students at 9:30 a.m. The event will run until 12:30 p.m. and is free for students and parents.
Todd Koch of Greenwood, admissions officer at 91ΑΤΖζ, said the event βis a great opportunity for local juniors in high school to gain information about the college process.β
βThe 91ΑΤΖζ Office hosts this event that gives these students information regarding financial aid and scholarships available, the importance of getting involved in organizations, as well as a plan for discussing majors and a career field,β he said.
βThese students are the future leaders of Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley, and it is important they receive every opportunity to succeed with the right resources,β Koch added. βWe are excited to give these kids the chance to prepare themselves for further educational opportunities.β
